Public Affairs, Strategic Engagement & Communications

Helping organisations navigate Wales, engage decision-makers and build relationships that create opportunity.

Raewyn Communications is a Wales-based strategic consultancy led by Nia Williams, working at the intersection of public affairs, strategic communications and commercial growth.

I help organisations understand the Welsh landscape, strengthen their positioning and engage with clarity, whether that means navigating the Senedd, engaging Welsh Government, shaping public debate or building stronger commercial pipelines.

This is strategic partnership, not reactive support.

Public Affairs & Government Engagement

For organisations that need to understand, navigate and engage with the Welsh political landscape.

With extensive experience working in and around the Senedd, I support organisations to identify the right routes into government, build credible relationships with decision-makers and communicate their priorities clearly.

From stakeholder mapping and political monitoring to briefing papers, Senedd events and engagement strategies, the focus is always influence with purpose.

Commercial Growth & Positioning

For businesses that want more than visibility.

I design structured outreach systems that align LinkedIn presence, outbound campaigns and website messaging, turning activity into opportunity and relationships into pipeline.

Clarity. Structure. Momentum.

Meet Nia

I'm Nia Williams, Founder and Strategic Director of Raewyn Communications.

For almost two decades, I've worked in and around Welsh politics, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications, helping organisations navigate complex landscapes, build influential relationships and create meaningful opportunities.

My experience spans the Senedd, political engagement, communications strategy, events, speechwriting and business development. I've worked with charities, membership organisations, cultural bodies, businesses and public sector partners, supporting them to strengthen their profile, engage decision-makers and achieve their objectives.

Today, through Raewyn Communications, I combine that experience to help organisations understand Wales, connect with the right people and turn strategy into action.

Based in the South Wales Valleys, I'm passionate about Wales, its communities, culture and future.

TESTIMONIALS

It was always a pleasure working with Nia; she was reliable and well-informed about the various policy areas on which we were working, as well as always having helpful and realistic suggestions for next steps forward. Nia helped Music Venue Trust make important progress in the Welsh political landscape both through her widespread political knowledge and her ability to think outside the box for creative tactics and policy solutions. Nia was always quick to reply, keen to help, and a source of positive energy for us to go to with urgent requests and questions.
